#6 Hearing God's Voice in the Workplace.
Welcome to my blog post entitled "Unveiling the Zeitgeist". This new 10-part series reveals the secrete of “Hearing God’s Voice in the Workplace”. People spend an average of 90,000 hours (or a third) of their life working. Given that we sleep in average 229,961 hours during our lifetime, the workplace takes a significant part of our life. In a modern, fast paced, time consuming and technologically driven lifestyle, does God still speaks to His people or has He become irrelevant and silent? The answer is that God always speaks! Matter of fact, God has never stopped speaking to His people since the foundation of the world has formed. Hearing God’s voice is not only enriching and meaningful to steer our life, but it is also an overlooked and unexplored secretes accessible to everyone. So, let’s explore together!
Knowing that we are merely executing God will in our jobs or companies, we must remember the more mature we become in our faith, less and less we act out on our own accord.
#7 How does God warn us and stop us? Please share the actual case?
In the past, I have had many transactions that God sheltered me from making costly mistakes that would have wiped out my small firm. Financial deals, which at a point, looked reasonable and lucrative never concluded in the signing of the actual contract. Later, I would learn that either the counterparty would face a scandal, the financial market would dip a few days later impacting the deal, an unexpected default situation would emerge or a crisis like GFC or coronavirus would breakout. It usually is a nudge by the Holy Spirit regarding a person, business transaction, or work situation. The hidden agendas of a counterparty would be supernaturally revealed due to the prevailing circumstances.
In other cases, I would receive an unexpected call or text msg from a trusted Christian friend or person that speaks into a situation. Knowing that we are merely executing God will in our jobs or companies, we must remember the more mature we become in our faith, less and less we act out on our own accord.
Let's pray together! Father God, Thank you for the blessings we know and the once we didn't even register. You protecting hand has sheltered us from greater harm but not to say that we have avoided all the hardships. Still, when faced with uncertainty give me the necessary strength to make it through the day. In Jesus name I pray.
